Most social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook require users be at least 13 years old to use the full platform experience, although there is a way for younger children to access the apps. Anyone under the age of 18 must have approval of a parent or guardian but we are aware that a number of children do have access to these sites at home. We would ask that you check your parental settings at home and consider the appropriateness of allowing your child to have social media account(s) if they do have access.
In addition some more, useful website addresses, including Government information, can be found in the Safeguarding Policy (located in the Policies page). The Data Protection Policy can also be found in the Policies page.
