We are making a few changes to our administration processes this week.
From 1 April 2022 we will no longer be using Groupcall to send emails and texts messages. We will now be sending texts and messages via RM Integris, which is the School’s Management Information System (MIS), which is the database we hold all our pupil records on. By using RM Integris to communicate with you, we are using one less IT processor, therefore making our Data Protection safer.
When you receive a message from school in the future it will show as coming from RM Integris – please make sure that this is in your safe senders list on your mobile etc. In the coming months we will also be setting up the RM Parent Portal which will give parents access to the information we hold about your child – such as attendance, attainment and behaviour. We will write to you again when we have set this facility up.
We will send a test email message out to all parents today at 11.00am. If you do not receive this message please can you email office@holmfirthjinschool.net with your name, your child’s name, your child’s class and your email address and mobile number and we will check that we have the correct information on our records.
We have also set up new automated signing in procedure. If you are visiting school please enter via the main door and sign in using the SignIn App on the tablet located next to the main office. You will need to enter your name and which class you are visiting. You must also sign out when you leave the building. This system will ensure that our Safeguarding procedures are followed and will assist us during any emergency evacuations.
