As our new allotment gets up and running, we are looking to support Holmepride Community in Action with donations of bulbs and seeds. Below is a post from Winton:
Two years ago I put out a request to the Holme Valley requesting donations of bulbs to get planted around Parks and Gardens and the Holmfirth Library were happy to be the drop-off point – the response was terrific and our Holmepride-CiA volunteers had literally hundreds of bulbs of various varieties.
So, the Library are happy to support this initiative again and a collection / donations box is now in the Library as seen in the attached photo.
This year I am also asking for Vegetable and Flower seed packets for use by your school and children in the allotment.
