A few weeks ago now in the summer term, we posted news of a competition from River Holme Connections.

The competition was about writing a story to do with the theme ‘River in My Valley.’ The link about takes you to the winners page where you can see, and also hear the stories being read by the poet and broadcaster Ian MacMillan. We think that there are other winners from our school there too. See if you can find them!

Hadley from our school won third place with the story he wrote (see below)! A massive congrats to him and thanks go to his mum for giving us permission to share his lovely little story.
