Tech savvy?

If you’ve attended any class at Holmfirth Adult Education Centre in the past, the following information from Holmfirth Tech may be of great interest to you:
“You may know several of the practitioners who worked from Hope Bank Works moved here when Hope Bank closed. Chloe Williams delivers all her Children’s Art School there and there are music lessons, adult art classes, various choirs, a rock school, yoga, pilates and lots of events, office, co working and meeting spaces there. Its an evolving process and we have been in long term negotiations with Kirklees College to buy the building and bring it back into the community. The building is iconic and its existence was formative to the educational tradition of the Valley.  It has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere and our ancestors have many happy memories of learning, making and having fun within its walls.   want to secure its future as Holmfirth’s creative hub so it can continue to be the place to go for future generations
We are now in a position to buy the building but we  urgently need to fundraise to do so.
We urgently need help to raise £250,000 before Christmas to cover the cost of buying The Tech and carrying out essential building works so it can continue to thrive.
We have just launched a public fundraising appeal, details of which can be found on our web site – http://www.holmfirthtech.co.uk”
