Early Years and Foundation stage pupils enjoyed a visit from a hedgehog this afternoon. It proved to be a fascinating time.
Our Macmillan cake stall closed just before the heavens opened. Well done to our Year 6 pupils for organising and thank you to all who supported.
Early Years and Foundation stage pupils have produced their own exhibits, in edible form. Using fruit and vegetables, they have created fantastic flowers.
Year 1’s artistic prowess is on show outside their classroom. It is a stunning display of exhibits.
Early Years and Foundation Stage pupils have been making the most of the September sunshine, including exploring bikes and scooters.
Year 3 pupils have been learning the importance of being able to see what’s around, when playing sport. As one pupil had possession of the ball, their partner would point to various body parts, ensuring awareness of teammates.
Year 2 pupils have created their very own blackberries, inspired by their walk earlier this week. The pupils have written some lovely comments about each other’s work.
Year 4 pupils have had the opportunity to consider the good and bad points of volcanoes. This morning, they’ve put their thoughts into writing.
A wide variety of cakes and buns will be on sale at the end of school, in aid of Macmillan. A group of Year 6 pupils have organised and co-ordinated the event, as well as making themselves busy in the kitchen!
