Viking village

It’s all going on in the Viking village! Pathways are being smoothed, huts are being insulated and even pheasant eggs have been discovered!

Peer Phonics

Reception pupils were on the search for commonly used words and letter strings. Guided by their Year 4 counterparts, they uncovered a whole host of learning.

Thank you to the FONS team for organising two very successful discos last night. Foundation Stage pupils boogied from 6 – 7 pm, whilst KS2 pupils danced the hour from 7.15 – 8.15 pm away. A great time was had by all!

Year 2 pupils have been out and about in Holmfirth, tallying the most popular colour for cars. They were concentrating so much that they did not notice me when i drove past them!

Early Years and Foundation Stage pupils enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic this afternoon. Although the weather was not favourable, they still enjoyed the event.
