Year 6:

Hannah T for being a wonderful role model to the class and to younger children in the school.

Mia for some superb topic work including a brilliant travel guide for British Columbia and some hilarious examples of adaptation using play dough.

Year 5:

Ben for being a fantastic learning friend and for producing a beautiful poem about Cliffe House

Esme for her fantastic reading voice and for her amazing poem about Cliffe House

Ruby S for ALWAYS doing the right thing. For producing excellent work in ALL subjects and bringing a smile to the classroom EVERY day.

Year 4:

Georgina for creating a wonderful character from our class book “The Ice Palace”. She made a Starjik for her PAL from wool and sticks which was brilliant and very creative.

Jake for completing his PAL every week to a high standard. It’s always beautifully presented and when we have a creative piece of PAL he goes above and beyond.

Year 3:

Eben for creating a fantastic story map for his Alien in Holmfirth story.

Ava for filling her already brilliant story map with key word, adjectives and her ideas.

Year 2:

Joe for really starting to join in and putting his hand up in lessons.

Harriot for great team work when making pirate costumes.

Year 1:

Harry for working very hard all week in his learning.

Josie for working very hard all week in her learning.

Reception:

Myley for working so hard today. For fantasic reading, counting petals for her sunflower and painting a beautiful background.

Elissa for trying really hard with her reading and phonics.

Megan and Elise for attending the Neilly Races as last minute replacements for our Year 6 girls’ team. A super effort given the horrible weather!!

Year 5:

Alfie – for his amazing attitude towards his maths learning and in particular towards rounding decimals.

Lucy – for her fantastic attitude towards her progress in maths. For her focus and determination to improve.

Year 5 girls cross country runners for getting through to the next round of the competition – Eve, Lani, Emily C, Penny and Hannah

Year 4:

Findlay – for the huge improvement in his handwriting and for focussing on his targets in his writing.

Linsey – for gaining lots of confidence in swimming and now trying to swim on her back.

Year 3:

Max – for the amount of hard work and effort he is putting into his maths at the moment.

Year 2:

Red maths group for their enthusiasm, for being fantastic mathematicians and to Anya for not giving up.

Year 1:

Emelia for all her hard work this week and being a superstar learner.

Tyreece and Teddy for really trying hard with their handwriting and sitting letters correctly on the lines.

Victoria – for being the most amazing friend.

Thomas L – for always trying hard in his learning.

Maisie – for being super focussed in her writing and making good progress.

Myley – for super listening and her number work this week. She can now recognise and name all numbers up to 10.

Lily – for her hard work in writing and using her phonics knowledge to write simple words independently.

Motorskills:

George, Freedie, Harry, Joseph, Neirin, Ewan, Isaac and Ivor for completing the motor skills programme and making good progress.
